Gift giving is very much a Christmas tradition.

vs 8-14

The Gift given: announcement & apprehension.

• God’s gifts are without condition
• God’s gifts are free because it comes through His grace & we do not need to be qualified for the gift.

vs 15-20

The Gift received: acceptance & actualization.

• In the giving & receiving of gifts, the giver & recipient is more important than the gift.
• In the midst of receiving the gift, we must remember the giver also – God
