3 habits of thanksgiving we need to cultivate:
I. THE HABIT OF THANKFUL THINKING.
- Thanksgiving of begins with thoughtfulness. Phil 1:3
- Thoughtfulness…
- Is the foundation of relationships.
- Liberates from self-deception.
- Helps see circumstances through God’s eyes.
II. THE HABIT OF THANKFUL SPEAKING.
- Singing “thanks”
- Testifying “thanks.” (Mk 5:19)
- Thank offerings. (Ps 116:17)
III. THE HABIT OF THANKFUL SERVING.
Thankful thinking ->Thankful speaking->thankful living
- Ps 116:12 “how can I repay the Lord…”
- Ps 116:16 “…truly I am your servant…”
- Col 3:17 “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus,giving thanks to God the Father through him”
