• Don’t treat our salvation lightly.

• Don’t forget Galilee… where you came from or what you’ve gone through.

• “Mountains” symbolise different experiences in our Christian journey.  The 5 mountain

  illustrations used by Matthew:-

  a) Mountain of the temptation & trials

  b) Mountain of teaching (Sermon on the Mount)

  c) Mountain of miracles (feeding of the multitudes)

  d) Mountain of Transfiguration (Chap 14)

  e) Mountain of Commissioning (Chap 28)

• All of our Christian life finds it’s relevance here (the Great Commission).  When our journey and

  mountains are seen in the light of eternity, it has an important purpose and we won’t backslide.
