1.    MONDAY (27/10/08)
•    Read Luke 12:15-21 and invite the Holy Spirit to speak to you from the text.
•    Is God’s definition of success similar to the world’s? If not, what’s the difference?
•    Are there any attitude adjustment about success that I need to make?

2.    TUESDAY (28/10/08)
•    Read Philippians 3:2-14. Note Paul’s “before” and “after” story of his conversion.
•    Compare your life before and after becoming a Christian. Identify any significant value and motivational changes that has taken place.

WEDNESDAY (29/10/08)
•    Read 2 Timothy 3:1-5.
•    What way do you see this prophecy being fulfilled today?
•    How should believers live in the last days? (Eph. 2:10; Titus 3:1,8,14)

THURSDAY (30/10/08)
•    Read Genesis 25: 29-34; Hebrews 12:16,17
•    In what way is Esau like one who lived with a temporal outlook?
•    How should the realisation that life on earth is short affect our priorities?

5. FRIDAY (31/10/08)
•    Read 1 Timothy 6:17-19
•    How should a Christian handle wealth? In what way is it different from the world?
•    Are there any adjustments you need to make as a result of this understanding?

6.  SATURDAY (1/11/08)
•    Read John 13:14; 1 Peter 2:4,5,9; 1 Peter 4:10; Matthew 5:16
•    Review the past month.
•    What can you praise God for? Whom have you served?
•    Where can you improve and how can you make kind deeds more intentional in your life?

•    Read Exo. 3:10-12; 4:1,2,10,13,17
•    3 groups of people: those who make things happen, those who watch things happen & those who  wonder what’s happening.
•    Which group are you when it comes to ministry? What prevents you from “Jumping in?”
•    Pray that God will help you overcome any barriers and also to use you to be a blessing throughout this week.

2. TUESDAY (21/10/08)
•    Read 1 Pet. 4:10; Rom 12:6-8
•    What spiritual gifts do you think God has given you?
•    Pray for insight and guidance for its use.

3. WEDNESDAY (22/10/08)
•    Read Nehemiah 2:12; Col. 4:12-13
•    What are you passionate about? What do I enjoy doing?

4. THURSDAY (23/10/08)
•    Read Exodus 31:2-6
•    What natural abilities do you have that can extend the kingdom of God?
•    Ask someone who knows you well for their opinion about your abilities.

5. FRIDAY (24/10/08)
•    Read Psalm 139:13-16
•    Consider whether you’re an extrovert or introvert.
•    Are you a people-oriented or task-oriented person?
•    Does your current job or ministry suit who you are?

6. SATURDAY (25/10/08)
•    Read 2 Cor. 1:3,4; Heb. 4:14-16; 1 Cor. 12:4-7
•    What life experiences have you gone through that helps you sympathise better with people?
•    Review your past week. What can you praise God for? Who has blessed you? Whom have you served?
•    Pray that Revival Centre will be an effective “Ministering Community” and also for your own contribution toward this.

WEEK 2:

1. MONDAY (13/10/08)

• Read 1 Peter 2:4,5,9.

• Think about the latest Sunday’s sermon. What was most meaningful to you? [If you were not in church, just meditate on the idea of priesthood & what it could mean].
• Ask God about what you can practically do about your insights.

2. TUESDAY (14/10/08)
• Read Psalm 141:2; Revelation 5:8; Ephesians 6:18-20.
• Priests approach God on behalf of people.
• Pray for a person in your social circle who might need salvation, healing, guidance, protection, strength etc. Thereafter keep an eye open to see how God is answering your prayer.

3. WEDNESDAY (15/10/08)
• Read Job 1:4,5; 1 Timothy 2:1-4; Matthew 6:10.
• Memorise 1 Peter 2:9.
• Pray for another person in your social circle who might need salvation, healing, guidance, protection, etc. Thereafter keep a eye open to see how God is answering your prayer.
• Pray also for God’s will to be done in Malaysia.

4. THURSDAY (16/10/08)
• Read Romans 15:15,16; Matthew 9:36-38.
• Priests not only approach God on behalf of people, they also approach people on behalf of God.
• Evaluate how well you’re doing this. Identify the hindrances. Where can you make improve or make a fresh start?

5. FRIDAY (17/10/08)
• Read Hebrews 13:16; Philippians 4:18.
• Good works & generosity are also a “spiritual sacrifice” we can offer up to God. Reflect on the spiritual gift(s) & resources that God has given you. How can you deploy them for God?
• Reflect on the previous week’s emphasis of picking up the towel of servanthood. Were you able to express simple acts of kindness this week?

6. SATURDAY (18/10/08)
• Read Hebrews 13:5.
• What can you praise God for this week?
• Pray that lessons learned & practiced will bear lasting fruits for God’s glory. Pray for a great Celebration Service in church tomorrow.
